What Happens at a Service?
A typical Sunday morning service at Capital City Baptist Church includes:
- Opening prayer and announcements
- Congregational singing of traditional hymns
- Scripture reading from the King James Bible
- Offering (guests are welcome to pass — no pressure)
- Bible-based preaching (30–40 minutes)
- Closing hymn and prayer
The atmosphere is reverent but friendly. You'll hear genuine singing, serious preaching, and real people worshipping the Lord.
What You Can Expect
You don't need to be a Christian to attend.
You won't be asked to stand up or introduce yourself.
No pressure on giving — guests are never expected to contribute.
Children are welcome to sit with their family.
The service is in English, using the King James Bible.
Services last 60–75 minutes (Sunday morning).
You're welcome to stay after for conversation.
We Use the King James Bible
All preaching, teaching, and Scripture reading at Capital City Baptist Church is from the King James Version of the Bible. If you have one, bring it. If not, don't worry — you can follow along with our Bibles.
